Science Fair is a student-led project which requires students to complete work at home. The requirements for Science Fair include identifying a question to test, collecting data and interpreting research, performing an experiment, and communicating results through a research paper, and a display board or technology presentation.
The Science Fair will take place March 30th – April 1st. Students who earn an A or B on their display boards/technology presentations will present their boards and research to an area scientist during this time for judging.
Awards will be given to the top three projects in each grade. Students will be allowed to develop a question from any area of science. Students will be working individually in grades 5-8. Each student is required to perform an experiment, write his/her own paper and create his/her own display board. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher with any questions regarding the Science Fair.
