Dress Code Policy

DRESS CODE POLICY WILL BE ENFORCED FOR ALL STUDENTS IN GRADE LEVELS KINDERGARTEN THROUGH EIGHTH

The following procedure will be used for dress code violations:

  • 1st Offense – Verbal and written warning
  • 2nd Offense – Phone call to parent/guardian (at home or work)
  • 3rd Offense – Parent Conference with Principal

Uniforms can be purchased from anywhere as long as the dress code is followed. Dress Code items can be purchased at any J.C. Penney store, by catalog 24 hours a day at 1-800-222-6161 or from their website. Approved attire can also be purchased through Schoolbelles catalog, school code #1732, contact via phone at 1-800-548-3883 or website for nearest store location.

General attire for GIRLS:

  • NO WHITE SHIRTS
  • Skirt – navy, khaki, or navy/green plaid only. No shorter than two inches above the knee.
  • Jumper (plain or pleated) – navy, khaki, or navy/green plaid only. No shorter than two inches above the knee.
  • Shorts – black, navy, khaki, or navy/green plaid only. No shorter than two inches above the knee.
  • Scooter skirts (skorts) – navy, khaki, or navy/green plaid only. No shorter than two inches above the knee.
  • Pants – black, navy, khaki, dress pants. Capri pants are permitted. No cargo pants!
  • Oxford shirts – light blue ONLY. Short or long sleeve. No logos.
  • Polo Shirts – red, black, navy, or light blue. Solid color only.
  • Turtleneck – red or navy. Solid color only.
  • Sweater vest – red or navy. Solid color only.
  • Cardigan – red or navy. Solid color only.
  • Socks / Tights – solid color only
  • Belt – must be worn with any apparel containing belt loops.
  • Shoes – should be comfortable basic shoes. Platform, high-heeled, fashion shoe, sandals or open toe shoes are not permitted.

General attire for BOYS:

  • NO WHITE SHIRTS
  • Pants – black, navy or khaki, dress pants. No cargo pants.
  • Shorts – black, navy or khaki. No shorter than two inches above the knee.
  • Oxford shirts – light blue. Short or long sleeve. No logos.
  • Polo Shirts – red, black, navy, or light blue. Solid color only. Short or long sleeves. No logos.
  • Turtleneck – red or navy. Solid color only.
  • Sweater vest – red or navy. Solid color only.
  • Cardigan – red or navy. Solid color only.
  • Socks / Tights – solid color only
  • Belt – must be worn with any apparel containing belt loops.
  • Shoes – should be comfortable basic shoes. Sandals are not permitted.

Additional guidelines for ALL STUDENTS:

  • Hats, visors, bandanas and sunglasses are not to be worn in the building
  • Jewelry – if worn should be lightweight, simple in style and kept to a minimum.
  • Hair – should be neat, clean, and styled in an appropriate conservative style.
  • No distracting hair color and/or style will be permitted. No “Mohawk” styles of any kind at any time.
  • Shirts must be neatly tucked into waistband.
  • No t-shirts or layered shirting of any kind.
  • No body piercing.

Student Jean Days – Jean days are the 1st and the 3rd Friday of each month only.  Jean Day dress code is BLUE JEANS only and uniform shirts.
