Meet Our Kindergarten Team

Carol Sysol

My name is Carol Sysol. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Michigan University, where I majored in Science and minored in Children's Literature. I also received my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from EMU. I received my Montessori Credential in Early Childhood Education, from the Michigan Montessori Teacher Education Center, located in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

My teaching career began at Creative Montessori Academy. I loved the Montessori Philosophy so much. I chose to have my own children attend Creative Montessori Academy.

I have been teaching for a while now and my favorite part is watching my students learn and grow. I am now seeing some of my former kindergarten students graduate and get married. I continue to love the youthful energy that kindergarten children have. Everything is so exciting and new to them and often to their families!

Charmaine Wright

My name is Charmaine Wright and I have been teaching kindergarten at Creative Montessori Academy for 15 years.  I graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and an Associate's degree in Science.  After, I attended Wayne State University for graduate classes.

I have enjoyed working with young children for as long as I can remember.  I have 2 children of my own, my son will be a Freshman and my daughter a senior in high school this coming year.  When I’m not teaching, I enjoy walking our two dogs, Max & Finn and cuddling with our two cats Gizmo and Binx while reading a good book.  I enjoy kayaking and hiking outdoors and use my love of nature and experiences to foster a love of learning about the wonders of the world around us when I teach Montessori.  I am looking forward to the many adventures that teaching Kindergarten at CMA will bring this year and look forward to meeting you!
